This ultra-thin, lightweight steel is designed for use in electric vehicles, generators, and transformers, enhancing motor efficiency and vehicle mileage. Production is expected to reach 200,000 tons per year with a capital expenditure of approximately $450 million, funded by cash from Big River Steel.
