DALLAS, Aug. 29, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Dozens of drivers who visited Green Spot Market & Fuels in Dallas had the opposite of a case of the Mondays today as they were surprised with a free tank of gas as part of Verizon’s “Fuel the Love” campaign. Dallas joins Madison, Portland, Phoenix, Indianapolis, Tampa, Las Vegas and Cincinnati as locations where Verizon, the network America relies on, has surprised and delighted people all in the name of kindness.

“The great thing about kindness is it really is something all of us can do to make the world a better place - whether it’s paying it forward or simply opening the door for someone - all of these acts add up,” said Jarrett Dawson, Consumer Sales Director with Verizon’s Consumer Group. “We know we can’t fill up everyone’s tanks but we hope when people hear about our Fuel the Love events it inspires others to do something kind as well.”

“I was shocked, I’m doing DoorDash right now and need to get gas, it really makes a difference,” said one lucky customer at the pump.

While Verizon is helping people save money directly at the pump in these select locations, it’s also making sure people know the value that comes with being a Verizon customer each and every day. For instance:
