Frontier Group Holdings, parent of Frontier Airlines (NASDAQ: ULCC), announced the appointment of Nancy L. Lipson to its Board of Directors on June 25, 2024. William A. Franke, chairman of Frontier Group Holdings, highlighted Lipson's extensive experience in the corporate legal field and her valuable contributions in other vital areas. Lipson previously served as EVP and Chief Legal Officer at Newmont , a leading gold mining company, where she advised the Board's compensation committee and developed expertise in sustainability, strategy, and compliance. She has also held legal roles at USWest/Qwest and Sports Authority and served on the boards of various non-profit organizations. Lipson holds degrees from Colorado College and the University of California, San Francisco.

Ms. Lipson served as Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of Newmont Corporation, the world's largest gold mining company and significant producer of copper, silver, lead, and zinc, until June of 2023. While at Newmont, Ms. Lipson was a central advisor and corporate secretary to the compensation committee of the Board. She also developed deep expertise in the areas of sustainability, corporate strategy, business integrity and compliance. Prior to Newmont, Ms. Lipson held corporate legal roles at companies including USWest/Qwest and Sports Authority, as well as serving as a commercial litigator in private practice.
