(NYSE: TRV), will complete its 2021 Wednesdays with Woodward® virtual event season with programs covering current political and economic trends. The series brings together experts across sectors to address pressing issues in business, leadership, insurance and more.

Nov. 17: ‘Running with the Bulls: A Conversation with CNBC’s Sue Herera’
Appearing on CNBC from its inception, Anchor at Large Sue Herera has reported on some of the biggest stories in business. She will reflect on being one of the first women covering a traditionally male news beat and share a behind-the-scenes look into the world of financial reporting.

Dec. 1: ‘Cybersecurity Playbook: What You Need to Know’
Jennifer Coughlin, founding partner of Mullen Coughlin, and Jeff Klenk, President of Bond & Specialty Insurance at Travelers, will offer tactical advice on cyber preparedness. The session will focus on actionable steps that businesses of all sizes can take to enhance their cybersecurity.

Klenk said, “We know from the 2021 Travelers Risk Index that cyber threats are the top cause for concern among business leaders, yet many organizations have not adopted basic preventive measures. As a leading cyber insurer, we see firsthand how cyberattacks can significantly impact the operations of a business. Dec. 8: ‘Economic Outlook 2022 with Goldman Sachs’ Chief U.S. Economist’
David Mericle, Chief U.S. Economist at Goldman Sachs, will discuss the 2022 economic outlook and his predictions for the upcoming year regarding inflation, interest rates, the supply chain, labor shortages and more.

Dec. 15: ‘Insuring the Rebuilding of America: What’s in the $1 Trillion Infrastructure Deal? What Will It Mean for the U.S. Economy?’
This panel will focus on the bipartisan infrastructure deal and the opportunities it will create for businesses, surety and insurance, not to mention the impact on the overall economy. Panelists will include:

  • Ed Mortimer, Vice President of Transportation Infrastructure, U.S. Chamber of Commerce
  • Chris Spear, President and CEO, American Trucking Associations
  • Bob Raney, Senior Vice President, Construction Surety, Travelers
