Consolidated Financial Results - Fiscal 2024 Three Months Ended June 30, 2023
- Net sales were
$7.4 million , an increase of4% when compared to the same period in fiscal 2023. Net sales at Stadco increased by26% on a more favorable project mix. Ranor net sales decreased by5% year over year with a less favorable project mix. - Cost of sales were
$6.7 million , or7% higher, due primarily to higher manufacturing costs at Ranor, due to a less favorable project mix. - Gross profit was
$0.7 million , or15% lower when compared to the same period last year. Gross profit decreased at Ranor on a less favorable project mix. Losses at Stadco narrowed year over year on improved overall margins on projects, partially offset by increased underabsorbed factory overhead. - SG&A was
$1.3 million , a decrease of$0.1 million , primarily due to cost reductions at Stadco. - Operating loss increased by approximately
