SHENZHEN, China, Nov. 22, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Tencent Music Entertainment Group ("TME," or the "Company") (NYSE: TME and HKEX: 1698), the leading online music and audio entertainment platform in China, today announced that it will hold its annual general meeting of shareholders (the "AGM") at the Hong Kong Club Building, 10^th Floor, 3A Chater Road, Central, Hong Kong on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 9:55 A.M. (Beijing/Hong Kong Time) (or soon after the Class A Meeting and the Class B Meeting, both of which are defined below), for the purposes of considering and, if thought fit, passing each of the Proposed Resolutions as defined and set forth in the notice of the AGM (the "AGM Notice"). The AGM Notice and the form of proxy for the AGM are available on the Company's website at ir.tencentmusic.com on November 22, 2022. The board of directors of the Company fully supports the Proposed Resolutions and recommends that shareholders and holders of American depositary shares ("ADSs") vote in favor of the Proposed Resolutions.

The Company will hold a class meeting of holders of Class A ordinary shares with a par value of US$0.000083 each (the "Class A Meeting") and a class meeting of holders of Class B ordinary shares with a par value of US$0.000083 each (the "Class B Meeting") for the purposes of considering and, if thought fit, passing the Class-based Resolution as defined and set forth in the meeting notices of the Company dated November 22, 2022 (Beijing/Hong Kong Time).
