Proprietary AI Algorithm Alerts Therapists to Suicide Risk in Patients Utilizing the Talkspace Platform

The natural language processing (NLP) model was developed by Talkspace in partnership with researchers at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and trained on anonymized, client-consented therapy transcripts to distinguish messages displaying suicidal risk from those without.
