Talkspace Supports U.S. Navy Pilot to Provide Free Virtual Mental Health Services
Talkspace (NASDAQ: TALK) has partnered with the U.S. Navy to launch a groundbreaking pilot program providing free virtual mental health services to approximately 25,000 sailors and their dependents. The program is being implemented across six naval bases: Newport News Shipyard, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Naval Base Guam, Naval Base Ventura County, Naval Construction Battalion Center Gulfport, and Naval Air Station Whidbey Island.
Eligible service members, their spouses/partners, and dependents aged 13 and up can access unlimited asynchronous messaging therapy and live video sessions with licensed providers. The program also includes 24/7 access to Talkspace Go, a self-guided mental health platform offering therapist-led content on topics ranging from stress management to relationship improvement. All services are provided through a HIPAA-compliant secure and encrypted platform.
