(TSXV: ROOF) (OTCQB: ROOOF) ("Northstar" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has been issued a patent (the "Patent") for the Company's front-end technology for reprocessing asphalt shingles from the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (the "CIPO"). The Patent is expected to remain in force until 2042. Further, Northstar has a pending Patent Cooperation Treaty ("PCT") application which preserves the right to file a patent application in any of the 157 PCT contracting states.
