Multimillion-dollar deal to support growing user base and secure delivery of government services
MAHWAH, N.J., Nov. 07, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Radware® (NASDAQ: RDWR), a leading provider of cyber security and application delivery solutions, announced it is providing expanded security services for a leading Asia-Pacific government office that is chartered to oversee its nation’s information technology infrastructure and services. The office is focused on strengthening cyber defenses across its data center infrastructure and ensuring secure delivery of government services to its growing user base.
The multimillion-dollar deal, which represents the extension of an existing relationship, includes the purchase of Radware’s Alteon® application delivery controller (ADC) and Alteon Global Elastic License (GEL). The office previously deployed Radware’s DefensePro® DDoS Protection.
“Applications have become the cornerstone of customer-, partner-, and internal-facing business activities for public and private organizations alike. Yet with the surge in the threat landscape, rise in micro-services architectures, and shortage in security staff, protecting these assets is more challenging than ever before,” said Nikhil Karan Taneja, Radware’s vice president and managing director for India, the Middle East, and South Asia. “Companies can count on Radware not only for application availability, performance, and security, but also a flexible licensing model built to protect their financial investment even as their security needs evolve.”
Radware’s Alteon manages application traffic to deliver continuous service across cloud and data center locations. In addition, it secures applications, APIs, and data against continuous cyberthreats. It can be deployed as a physical, virtual, or cloud appliance.
Radware’s Alteon GEL is a purchasing and deployment model. It helps companies reduce capacity planning and licensing costs by enabling them to buy a single license to support the deployment of ADC services across any private or public cloud environment. As their business needs change, companies can add new ADCs or re-allocate existing ADC resources across environments at a moment’s notice without jeopardizing their initial investment.
Radware has received numerous awards for its DDoS mitigation, application and API protection, web application firewall, and bot detection and management solutions. Industry analysts such as Aite-Novarica Group, Forrester Research, Gartner, GigaOm, KuppingerCole, and Quadrant Knowledge Solutions continue to recognize Radware as a market leader in cyber security.
