Diverts large volumes of web traffic and reduces time to protection
MAHWAH, N.J., Sept. 26, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Radware® (NASDAQ: RDWR), a leading provider of cyber security and application delivery solutions, announced it is providing DDoS protection for one of the top 20 leading data center providers and operators in the world. As part of a million-dollar agreement, the industry leader selected Radware’s Cloud DDoS Protection Service to mitigate and prevent volumetric assaults.
In the face of an escalating threat landscape, the data center provider was looking for a DDoS protection solution that could meet its shifting network requirements. The company chose Radware for its capacity to divert large volumes of web traffic and reduce time to protection.
“The increasing scale and sophistication of DDoS attacks have raised the bar needed for detection,” said Yoav Gazelle, Radware’s chief business officer. “Radware’s solutions are built to deliver automated, accurate DDoS detection and mitigation at the scale needed to combat high-scale, emerging attacks without blocking legitimate traffic. For more than two decades, we have been protecting the world’s most demanding networks—whether they belong to the top data center providers and carriers or most regulated industries.”
Radware’s multi-layered Cloud DDoS Protection Service defends organizations against network- and application-layer attacks, volumetric assaults, zero-day threats, encrypted attacks, and more. The service is backed by Radware’s worldwide cloud security service network, which includes more than 40 security centers and delivers an attack mitigation capacity of 12Tbps.
Radware has received numerous awards for its DDoS mitigation, application and API protection, web application firewall, and bot detection and management solutions. Industry analysts such as Aite-Novarica Group, Forrester Research, Gartner, GigaOm, KuppingerCole, and Quadrant Knowledge Solutions continue to recognize Radware as a market leader in cyber security.
