Supporting providers to help unleash the full potential of pharmacists during these unprecedented times
INDIANAPOLIS & JOHNSON CITY, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
iA, a provider of software-enabled pharmacy fulfillment and automation solutions, announced today the new executive leadership team focused on upleveling customer experience and scaling the overall organization in sales, operations, customer support, and finance to meet growing market demand.
The need for the pharmacist to be at the frontline of care has never been greater because of COVID-19, therefore central fulfillment is seeing a global prioritization so the pharmacist can provide frontline services including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management. Last month, iA introduced Pharmacy Fulfillment by iA, a comprehensive solution focused on enhancing the pharmacist-patient relationship by enabling an omnichannel model to pharmacy providers, allowing quick turnaround fulfillment while enabling pharmacy providers to offer additional patient choice – vial or adherence pouch packaging, specialty pharmacy services, additional over-the-counter medications and nutraceuticals, and patient choice for same-day delivery, mail at home, or pick up in the store.
Dave Ristow will be joining iA and serve as the Chief Financial Officer as the company moves to this next phase of growth. Most recently, Ristow served as the Chief Financial Officer at Qumu Corporation (Nasdaq: QUMU) where he led the transition to a SaaS subscription model. He is experienced in strategic business planning, orchestrating corporate financing, and corporate development activities. Ristow also brings with him a background in driving growth and scale in both private and public companies.
iA will be organized into two operating divisions moving forward, the Software & Product Group and the Systems Integration Group. Ryan Bingham joins iA as the new Group President of Systems Integration. Bingham has many years of pharmacy and fulfillment experience coming from Express Scripts, Amazon, Fluke Corp., and most recently Deliverr. Bingham will focus on the customer experience, including onsite system builds and field service support, as well as operations, including manufacturing and engineering in his new role with the company. Tom Utech, Pharm.D., currently the Chief Strategy Officer, will expand his responsibilities to become Group President, Software and Product as iA continues to expand iA’s intelligent enterprise pharmacy fulfillment software platform, NEXiA, capabilities, while also delivering new portfolio innovations to further drive market growth, customer scale, and a decrease in cost as demand increases.
As iA focuses on accelerated market growth, Tim Canning will join the iA team as Chief Revenue Officer. Canning has over 20 years of experience in the health and pharmaceutical industry, most recently from VSP Global where he was focused on global business development. Prior to VSP Global, Canning held leadership positions as Chief Marketing Officer at Omnicare and President of Health Mart at McKesson. At iA, he will focus on expanding iA’s reach into new market segments in the US and globally.
Additionally, Alecia Lashier has been named Chief Automation Officer as iA continues to shape the pharmacy fulfillment industry. Lashier has over 25 years of experience in the pharmacy software and automation space and is recognized as the leading expert in high volume pharmacy automation.
"iA’s continued growth is a function of our commitment to partner with our customers to utilize Pharmacy Fulfillment by iA to unleash the full potential of pharmacy,” said Marvin Richardson, CEO of iA. “I am excited about the talent that is joining the iA team to help the company continue to drive growth, scale, and an improved customer experience. Together, Ristow, Canning, and Bingham will focus on refining the go-to-market strategy, increasing the focus on the broader market segments, scaling financial processes, and continuing to unleash the value of iA to its global customer base.”
Jessica Baer, Chief Legal Officer, will expand her responsibilities to include procurement and improving business processes to address the company growth and improve costs. Dionne Archie, Chief People Officer, will continue in her current role focused on talent acquisition and training to support iA. Over the last 12 months iA has grown the organization with a focus on scale and growth, continuing development and innovation across iA’s suite of pharmacy fulfillment solutions.
“I’m excited to work with our new executive leadership team,” added Richardson. “Their experience across pharmacy, operations retail, and ecommerce will support iA’s commitment to ensuring that our Pharmacy Fulfillment by iA continues to expand and empower our customers to transform pharmacy and improve patient choice.”
