This acquisition enhances route density and expands product offerings in the Northeast, benefiting approximately 6.5 million residents across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. TAMPA, Fla, Aug. 2, 2021 /PRNewswire/ - Primo Water Corporation (NYSE: PRMW) (TSX: PRMW) (the "Company" or "Primo"), a leading provider of water direct to consumers and water filtration services in North America and Europe as well as a leading provider of water dispensers, purified bottled water, and self-service refill drinking water in the U.S. and Canada, today announced that Primo Water North America ("PWNA"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Primo, has acquired substantially all of the assets related to the Home and Office Delivery business of Health Waters of Pennsylvania ("Health Waters").
The acquisition will increase Primo's route density and expand Mountain Valley product offerings in the Northeast. The customer base overlaps Primo's existing infrastructure in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, and includes a population of approximately 6.5 million residents.
Customers will continue to enjoy Primo's Mountain Valley product offerings and will soon be able to enjoy all Crystal Springs product offerings, the Primo water brand in the region. Customers will be serviced by four Crystal Springs branches located in the eastern part of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.
