Northern Trust Asset Management Names Head of Strategic Accounts, Intermediary
Northern Trust Asset Management (NTAM), a global investment firm managing $1.2 trillion as of March 31, 2024, has appointed Hugh Ansty, CFA, as Head of Strategic Accounts, Intermediary. Ansty will lead sales and client relationship strategies within the intermediary market for NTAM’s Wealth Client Group.
Reporting to Suzanne Casey and Sunitha C. Thomas, co-heads of the Wealth Client Group, Ansty’s role focuses on deepening client relationships and driving revenue growth. Ansty brings over 30 years of experience, most recently serving as Head of National Accounts at Hilton Capital Management. His background includes leadership roles at BlackRock, Merrill Lynch, Pioneer Investments, and Evergreen Investments.

In this role, Ansty will lead sales and client relationship strategy in the intermediary market for NTAM’s Wealth Client Group. Ansty reports to NTAM Wealth Client Group Co-Heads Suzanne Casey and Sunitha C. Thomas.

Prior to that he held leadership roles at BlackRock, Merrill Lynch, Pioneer Investments, and Evergreen Investments. Ansty is a CFA® charterholder and holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the College of William & Mary.
