Studio City International Holdings Limited Announces Unaudited Fourth Quarter 2022 Earnings
Studio City International Holdings Limited (NYSE: MSC) reported its unaudited financial results for Q4 and full year 2022. Total operating revenues for Q4 2022 were US$4.2 million, a decline from US$28.4 million in Q4 2021, mainly due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. The casino generated gross gaming revenues of US$40.9 million, down from US$91.1 million year-over-year. The operating loss increased to US$70.0 million in Q4 2022 from US$45.0 million in Q4 2021, and net loss for the quarter was US$85.4 million, up from US$53.9 million. For 2022, total revenues were US$11.5 million, down from US$106.9 million in 2021. Although full recovery is uncertain, Phase 2 of Studio City is expected to open in Q2 2023.

We expect Studio City Phase 2 to open in the second quarter of 2023.
