METROCITY BANKSHARES, INC. REPORTS EARNINGS FOR FOURTH QUARTER AND YEAR ENDED 2022
MetroCity Bankshares reported a net income of $13.2 million for Q4 2022, down 22% from Q3 and 24.5% from Q4 2021. The year-end 2022 net income was $65.6 million, a 6.3% increase year-over-year. Key metrics included a 1.54% return on average assets for Q4, a decline from 2.07% the previous quarter. The efficiency ratio worsened to 40.3% from 36.4% in Q3. Total assets rose to $3.43 billion, with total loans increasing 2.6% to $3.06 billion.
