SISTERS, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Laird Superfood (NYSE American:LSF), creator of award-winning, plant-based superfood products, today announced a new customer fulfillment center in Sisters, Oregon. The new center is located next to the Company’s headquarters at 295 West Lundgren Mill Drive and will span 27,000 square feet. The facility will expand the companies best in class eCommerce platform as well as upgrade its logistics for serving its wholesale partners. Scheduled to open by October 1, 2021, the new facility will help support the Company’s thriving business.

Ahead of a busy Q4, the new expanded layout combined with enhanced IT tools enables optimization of the Company’s order picking process. This expansion will also benefit Laird Superfood’s need to meet the influx from upcoming promotions, new product introductions, and allows for more inventory to be held on site which makes fulfillment more nimble. As a result of the engineered layout, the Company expects to load and unload vehicles at a significantly improved velocity. The new center will also help keep full-time jobs local with competitive pay and benefits.
