Toronto, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - November 15, 2023) -  Leon's Furniture Limited (TSX: LNF) ("LFL" or the "Company"), today announced that Dave Freeman, Divisional President of The Brick, will be retiring on December 31, 2023 after a 43-year career with the organization. Darci Walker, a seasoned executive and current Vice President of Operations has been appointed President of the Brick and will assume her responsibilities upon Mr. Freeman's retirement.

Dave has been with the Company for over four decades, having joined us in 1980 as a credit supervisor and worked in our offices across Canada including Toronto, Ottawa, Winnipeg, Edmonton and Calgary, finally returning to Edmonton in 2007 as Vice President of Sales. Dave's enthusiasm and commitment to the Company were reflected in his growth, and in 2016 he became the President of The Brick. During his tenure, Dave brought many positive aspects to the Company and was a role model, mentor and coach. We very much appreciate his leadership over the past 43 years and on behalf of the Board of Directors, we wish him well in his retirement as he will be able to travel and spend more time with his family."
