("iAnthus" or the "Company") (CSE: IAN) (OTCPK: ITHUF), which owns, operates, and partners with regulated cannabis operations across the United States, today announced that it has filed an amendment to its Form 10 Registration Statement ("Form 10"), previously filed on December 8, 2020 with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") to register its common stock under Section 12 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended (the "Exchange Act"), and that the Form 10, as amended, became effective as of February 5, 2021. Following the effective date, iAnthus will be subject to the reporting requirements of the Exchange Act. This means the Company will begin filing annual reports with the SEC on Form 10-K, quarterly reports on Form 10-Q, periodic reports on Form 8-K, and subject itself to additional reporting obligations related to proxies, shareholder actions and stock ownership rules.
