IBM RELEASES SECOND QUARTER RESULTS
IBM reported second-quarter 2022 revenue of $15.5 billion, a 9% increase, with a 16% rise at constant currency, driven by hybrid cloud and AI demands. Key segments included software revenue at $6.2 billion (up 6%), consulting at $4.8 billion (up 10%), and infrastructure at $4.2 billion (up 19%). Cash flow remained strong with $4.6 billion from operating activities year-to-date. IBM anticipates full-year revenue growth at the high end of its mid-single-digit guidance and expects $10 billion in free cash flow.

Full-Year 2022 Expectations
- Revenue growth: The company continues to expect constant currency revenue growth at the high end of its mid-single digit model. The company also expects an additional 3.5 point contribution from incremental sales to Kyndryl. At mid-July 2022 foreign exchange rates, currency is expected to be about a six-point headwind.
