Interactive Brokers Group (Nasdaq: IBKR), a global brokerage firm, today announced that Cecelia Zhong joined on September 6, as Executive Director focusing on business development for Greater China in a newly created position. Reporting to David Friedland, Managing Director-Asia Pacific Operations at Interactive Brokers, Cecelia is based in IBKR’s Hong Kong office and will be dedicated to the company’s growth and expansion in China.

Most recently, she was CEO of a Hong Kong based Fintech company specializing in energy and metals trading. Trained as a Mechanical Engineer in China, Cecelia earned an MBA in Finance from Edinburgh Business School in the UK. She is a CFA charterholder.
