The decrease is attributed primarily to non-recurring income from the forgiveness of $54.2 million SBA Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans during the first six months of 2021 (last year), compared to $11.5 million during the same period in 2022.

Second quarter 2022 financial highlights compared to the Second quarter of 2021 include:
