Garmin (GRMN) and Qualcomm Technologies announced their expanded automotive collaboration at CES 2025, introducing the Garmin Unified Cabin™ 2025, a next-generation digital cockpit solution. The system features scalable domain controller capabilities powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon® Cockpit Elite platform.
The new solution incorporates enhanced onboard generative AI through a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU), supporting theme customization and voice assistants. It's powered by Qualcomm's highest-performing CPU, Qualcomm Oryon™, improved Adreno™ GPU, and Hexagon™ NPU for superior multimodal AI performance.
This collaboration builds upon their partnership that began in 2019, with the first Unified Cabin iteration launched in 2022. The system will be showcased at CES 2025 in Las Vegas from January 7-9 at the Garmin booth.
