(TSXV:GWM)(OTCQB:GAYMF) ("Galway Metals" or the "Company"), is pleased to announce an update on recent insider purchases, through a series of transactions conducted through the facilities of the TSX Venture Exchange. Robert Hinchcliffe, President, CEO and Director, acquired an aggregate 1,074,500 common shares of the Company in the past 12 months including 350,000 this quarter. Michael Sutton, VP of Exploration and Director, acquired a total of 255,000 common shares in 2022, including 245,000 this quarter. Joseph Cartafalsa, Director, acquired a total of 250,770 common shares of the Company in the past 12 months, including 48,250 this quarter.

As a result, Mr. Hinchcliffe now owns a total of 15,642,740 common shares of Galway, representing approximately 7.8% of the issued and outstanding shares of the Company. Overall, since Galway's shares began trading in 2013, Mr. Hinchcliffe has purchased 8.3 million shares in the open market, 4.7 million shares via private placements and 1.3 million shares acquired through the exercise of warrants and options.
