Subaru of America, Inc. has announced a $30,000 donation to the Cooper Foundation, continuing its support for Cooper University Health Care in Camden, NJ. This contribution, part of the Subaru Loves to Care® initiative, will fund durable medical equipment and transportation services for Camden residents. The donation aims to provide essential medical equipment like blood pressure monitors, glucometers, and wheelchairs to help patients manage chronic health conditions at home. It will also ensure hundreds of Camden residents have access to roundtrip transportation for medical appointments at Cooper facilities.
This marks the third consecutive year of Subaru's support for Cooper's mission. The partnership between Subaru and Cooper demonstrates their shared commitment to addressing healthcare disparities and improving the lives of Camden patients. The funds are designated for durable medical equipment, including blood pressure monitors, glucometers, scales, wheelchairs, walkers, and canes to help patients manage their chronic health conditions at home and prevent the need for emergency department visits or hospitalizations. The funds will also provide hundreds of Camden residents with roundtrip transportation to assure patients who do not have medical transport get to their appointments safely on time to Cooper facilities.
