Newly created positions of Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Operations Officer to further streamline and strengthen the American Home Shield and Frontdoor brands

MEMPHIS, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Frontdoor, Inc. (NASDAQ: FTDR), the nation’s leading provider of home service plans with approximately two million members, today announced the promotion of the following executives: Kathy Collins to Senior Vice President & Chief Revenue Officer, and Evan Iverson to SVP & Chief Operations Officer. Both promotions will be effective Jan. 1, 2024.

“Kathy and Evan are two very special leaders. They’re strategic, insightful and have clearly demonstrated the expertise needed to drive growth of our contractor network and enhancements to the member experience – all to support our strategic objectives of growing revenue and our customer base,” said Bill Cobb, Frontdoor, Inc.’s chairman and chief executive officer. “The board of directors and I have complete confidence in their ability to drive improvements and innovate in ways that will ensure the American Home Shield and Frontdoor brands continue to deliver for their distinct customer segments.”

Formerly SVP & Chief Brand Officer, Kathy Collins in her new role as Chief Revenue Officer will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all revenue-generating activities for Frontdoor, Inc.’s two brands, American Home Shield and Frontdoor. This includes ideation, testing and development of all products and services, as well as execution through direct-to-consumer sales, sales to new homebuyers via the real estate channel, marketing, and corporate partnerships – all with the goal of driving revenue and customer acquisition, satisfaction and retention. Chief Sales Officer Jes Fields will report directly to Collins.

“Jes and I already work very closely together and this change simply makes official what is already happening on a nearly day-to-day basis,” Collins said. “I look forward to integrating Jes’s very capable team into our larger organization. Together, we’re going to achieve even more synergy moving into 2024.”

Collins will continue all responsibilities under her previous role as Chief Brand Officer; that role will not be backfilled. Collins joined Frontdoor, Inc. in June 2022 as CMO and was subsequently promoted this past June to Chief Brand Officer. You can read her full bio here.

Formerly SVP of Contractor Engagement, Iverson in his new role as Chief Operations Officer will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day operational functions for the American Home Shield and Frontdoor brands with a focus on enhancing the contractor and member experiences. Scott Brown, the head of service operations, will report directly to Iverson.

“Scott is a tremendous operator with many years of experience,” Iverson said. “He understands how to deliver a world class customer experience and he has been a key teammate, supporting most every project I have led at Frontdoor. I am thrilled to continue our work together transforming Frontdoor operations.”

Moving forward, Iverson will continue his responsibilities for contractor engagement, helping to build on the network of about 16,000 contractors; there will not be a separate backfill for that role. Iverson joined Frontdoor, Inc. in January 2019 as VP of Operations and was subsequently promoted to VP of Contractor Relations in February 2022, and then again to SVP of Contractor Engagement in August 2023.
