Faraday Future (Nasdaq: FFAI) has appointed Wensheng Chen to lead plant operations and manufacturing quality at FF ieFactory California. Chen will oversee manufacturing operations quality and work to enhance performance and production of the FF 91 2.0 and future FX models.
Chen brings over 20 years of automotive industry experience, with previous roles at Singulato Automobile, Beijing Automobile Group, and Volvo Luqiao. His expertise includes quality control, vehicle launches, and executive management. Prior to joining FF, Chen served as plant manager and process engineer at Global Electronics Testing Services.
The appointment adds to FF's recent leadership expansion in sales, after-sales, and R&D departments. Chen holds a bachelor's degree in automotive engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology and a master's degree in industrial engineering from the University of South Florida.

Chen brings an extensive background spanning over two decades in the automotive industry, bringing a wealth of experience and a proven track record of quality control and improvements, successful vehicle launches, and executive management. He spent time at Singulato Automobile Co., Ltd (New Energy), Beijing Automobile Group Co., and Volvo Luqiao in various roles related to improving plant quality, new model launch quality, and problem and issue containment. Chen comes to FF from Global Electronics Testing Services, LLC, where he served as a plant manager and process engineer and oversaw daily production operations focused on quality, productivity, and efficiency controls.
