DANBURY, Conn., July 18, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- FuelCell Energy, Inc. (Nasdaq: FCEL) (the “Company” or “FuelCell Energy”) today announced that it plans to hold a special meeting of its stockholders (“Special Meeting”) on October 10, 2023 to consider and vote on a proposal to amend the Company’s Certificate of Incorporation, as amended, to increase the number of authorized shares of common stock of the Company from 500,000,000 shares to 1,000,000,000 shares.
Holders of record of the Company’s common stock as of the close of business on August 14, 2023 will be entitled to receive notice of and to vote at the Special Meeting. Details regarding the Special Meeting will be made available to stockholders at a later date in a proxy statement to be filed by the Company with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
