CoStar Group Calls for Entries Ahead of Third Annual CoStar Impact Awards

The CoStar Impact Awards Recognize Influential Commercial Real Estate Projects and Transactions Across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- CoStar Group (NASDAQ: CSGP), a leading provider of online real estate marketplaces, information and analytics in the property markets, is accepting nominations for the third annual CoStar Impact Awards. The CoStar Impact Awards identify and highlight exemplary commercial real estate transactions and projects that have had a significant influence in neighborhoods or submarkets across 128 major markets in the United States, Canada and United Kingdom. The awards will recognize exemplary projects and transactions completed in 2023, as selected by a panel of industry professionals drawn from each respective market.

Judges panels comprised of commercial real estate industry professionals will select winners from each market based on the following categories in the United States and Canada: Lease of the Year, Commercial Development of the Year, Multifamily Development of the Year, Redevelopment of the Year and Sale/Acquisition of the Year. Influential projects that represent growth and diversification and have overcome unique challenges in their respective markets will be chosen as winners. Award winners will receive a customized trophy, as well as promotion on the CoStar platform and marketing channels.

Examples of winning submissions from 2023 include: a 442,562-square-foot adaptive reuse development that transformed a former warehouse row into a food and entertainment hub in Atlanta; an $8.4 million sale and acquisition of an 85,921-square-foot shopping center to create a better retail and service center in Lexington/Fayette; an 80,000-square-foot office property with an athletic field atop a parking garage in Boston; and a $518 million sale and acquisition of 800 acres to create a massive industrial park in Toronto.

In addition to a call for entries, CoStar Group is also searching for judges. To be considered for these roles, applicants must be a commercial real estate industry professional with deep knowledge of their respective market.
