200 Boys & Girls Club Youth, Detroit City Council, Comcast to Participate in Field Day, Olympic Games Paris 2024 Opening Ceremony Watch Party
Comcast and Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan are collaborating to bring the excitement of the Olympic Games Paris 2024 to over 200 children in Detroit. The event includes a Field Day with various sports activities and an Opening Ceremony watch party at the Dick and Sandy Dauch Campus. Detroit City Council members will participate in refereeing and timing events.
Participants will receive medals and laptops donated by Comcast as part of Project UP, a $1 billion commitment to advance digital equity. The initiative aligns with BGCSM's mission to empower youth through sports programming and life skills development.
