(the “Company” or “CIB Marine”) (OTCQX: CIBH) announced the redemption date for its initial redemption of preferred stock pursuant to its Second Amended and Restated Articles of Organization, approved by both common and preferred shareholders in September. Effective October 29, 2021, approximately 49.7% of CIB Marine’s Series A and Series B Preferred shares will be redeemed, on a pro-rata basis, at $825 per share. The $18 million initial redemption will be funded entirely by earnings from CIB Marine’s wholly owned subsidiary, CIBM Bank. Documentation has been mailed to all preferred shareholders of record by the Company’s redemption agent, Computershare Trust Company, N.A..
