CBIZ Women’s Advantage will celebrate International Women’s Day by honoring visionary women in business with second-annual award
CLEVELAND--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
CBIZ, Inc. (NYSE: CBZ), a leading provider of financial, insurance and advisory services, announces that nominations are now open for its second-annual Women Transforming Business Award. The award, powered by CBIZ’s Women's Advantage (“CWA”), honors leaders of influence who have made an impact in their communities and organizations by demonstrating financial, cultural or innovative strength. Nominations are now open and finalists will be announced on International Women’s Day on March 8, 2022. Finalists will be recognized and winners announced in a virtual event at the end of April, 2022.
Established in 2020, The Women Transforming Business award recognizes the work of women business leaders who mirror the philosophy of CBIZ Women’s Advantage (CWA), a program established in 2007 to support women in business through professional development, mentorship and career enhancement.
Last year, the award shed light on dedicated leaders who were continuing to drive change even throughout the most turbulent and unprecedented times of the pandemic. Nominees rose to the occasion and continued to maintain and exceed financial, cultural and innovative goals for their organizations. Today, the award serves as not only a source of recognition for women in business, but as a community for women who are truly driving change in their organizations.
“When the Women Transforming Business award was launched last year, we focused on leaders who were transforming their businesses in the midst of one of the most challenging environments we’ve ever experienced,” said Jerry Grisko, president and CEO of CBIZ. “The response was so overwhelming and the stories so incredible, we recognized the opportunity to use our platform to further amplify and celebrate the accomplishments of women leaders and the impact they are having on their workforce, industries and communities.”
The public will be able to nominate women who have demonstrated transformational impact on their businesses during the past year from now until January 31, 2022. Nominations can be submitted through an online form. For more information, watch this video and see #CBIZWTBAwards on Twitter.
