American Public University System (APUS) has partnered with Wreaths Across America (WAA) to honor veterans by sponsoring over 600 wreaths at Edge Hill Cemetery in Charles Town, West Virginia, doubling their initial goal of 300 wreaths. The event will take place on December 14, 2024, as part of National Wreaths Across America Day.
APUS, which includes American Military University and American Public University, has supported WAA since 2011. The initiative allows the public to participate by sponsoring wreaths at $17 each, volunteering at ceremonies, or helping educate others about veterans' sacrifices. The program extends to over 4,700 participating locations nationwide.

Thanks to the generosity of the University community, APUS has doubled its goal (of 300 sponsored wreaths) for the Edge Hill Cemetery. APUS will also sponsor fresh balsam wreaths and a moment of tribute for heroes laid to rest at other select locations.
