(NASDAQ: WISA), a leading innovator in wireless audio technology for intelligent devices and next-generation home entertainment systems, announces an implementation of WiSA E that allows users to watch video on their mobile phones and tablets while listening to the fully synchronized audio playback on their WiSA E-enabled speakers. This breakthrough feature will be demonstrated at CES 2024 on Android devices from Google and Samsung.

Speakers in each room can be grouped together and named (e.g., Living Room, Bedroom, etc.). The demonstration at CES shows how switching sources from a TV to an Android phone or tablet happens seamlessly. Once selected, audio from the streaming mobile device is transmitted and played back from the multiple WiSA E speakers in that group. Audio from mobile devices is no longer restricted to low-quality internal speakers, earbuds, or Bluetooth speakers. WiSA E’s versatility enables fully immersive audio from both TVs as well as an enabled Android audio source device.
