Vicor Corporation Reports Results for the First Quarter Ended March 31, 2023
Vicor Corporation (NASDAQ: VICR) reported its Q1 2023 financial results, showing a 10.8% year-over-year revenue increase to $97.8 million, but a 7.3% sequential decrease from Q4 2022. Gross margin rose to 47.6%, up from 42.6% in the same quarter last year. Net income climbed to $11.2 million or $0.25 per diluted share, compared to $5.0 million or $0.11 a year earlier. Cash flow from operations reached $10.1 million, significantly higher than $4.6 million in Q1 2022. However, the backlog decreased by 36.0% year-over-year to $271.3 million.
