New York, New York, Feb. 11, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Venus Acquisition Corporation, a Cayman Islands company (the “Company”) announced today that it closed its initial public offering of 4,600,000 units at a price of $10.00 per unit, resulting in gross proceeds of $46,000,000. The units began trading on The Nasdaq Capital Market and trade under the ticker symbol “VENAU” . Each unit consists of one ordinary share of the Company, one right entitling the holder to receive one-tenth (1/10) of one ordinary share, and one warrant, each warrant exercisable for one-half of one ordinary share of the Company at a price of $11.50 per whole share. Once the securities comprising the units begin separate trading, the ordinary shares, rights and warrants are expected to be listed on The Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbols “VENA”, “VENAR” and “VENAW,” respectively. The gross proceeds reflect the exercise of the over-allotment option in full by the underwriters for an additional 600,000 units.
