Lindsay Macadam moves up to Executive Vice President of GPM from the role of Senior Vice President of Content & Business Development. Reporting to GPM President David Way, Macadam will be leading business development and third-party partnerships, as well as overseeing key new and current series. Macadam has more than 15 years’ experience in film and TV production, including serving as a leading executive producer on drama series Motive (CTV, NBCUniversal International). Currently an Executive Producer on GPM’s first drama Reginald the Vampire (SyFy, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, for Thunderbird Scripted), she also recently spearheaded the formation of GPM’s strategic partnership with Sean Connolly’s Original Content Lab.
Moving up to Vice President, Creative, Todd Serotiuk previously served as Executive Producer and showrunner for six seasons on Heavy Rescue: 401 (Discovery Canada, The Weather Channel) and for two seasons on Highway Thru Hell (Discovery Canada, The Weather Channel). Serotiuk reports to Way and Macadam andis now responsible for overseeing the creative on new key series, helping to foster the professional development of GPM team members, and consulting on the creative direction and execution of projects in development. He brings more than two decades working as a top-level director, writer and story editor on unscripted and documentary series, notably serving as story editor and director on Ice Pilots NWT (History), to the role.
“Building on a banner year where we added five new series and had strong renewals of existing series, these promotions are significant for GPM and its continued success,” said Way. “Lindsay and Todd possess a wealth of experience in their respective areas, and they both have a keen creative sense and terrific all-round leadership skills that will further elevate our teams and shows.”
GPM currently has eight series underway with more than 80 hours in production — all original content created in-house — including Deadman’s Curse (History Channel Canada, Hulu), Styled (HGTV Canada, Hulu), After the Storm, Highway Thru Hell, Heavy Rescue: 401 and Mud Mountain Haulers (all Discovery Canada).
Additionally, Lori Massini has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Legal and Business Affairs from Vice President of Legal and Business Affairs at Thunderbird Entertainment.
