In a separate press release issued today, Syneos Health announced that it had entered into a definitive agreement pursuant to which a group of private equity firms comprised of Elliott Investment Management, Patient Square Capital and Veritas Capital have agreed to acquire all of the outstanding shares of Syneos Health (the “Merger”). Use of Non-GAAP Financial Measures and Operating Metrics

a. Represents the amortization of intangible assets associated with acquired backlog, customer relationships, trade names and trademarks, intellectual property, patient communities, and acquired technologies.
