Semtech Corporation (NASDAQ: SMTC) announced the successful demonstration of a 200G/lane optical transmission link in collaboration with Broadcom and Keysight Technologies. This demo showcases Semtech's FiberEdge 200G PAM4 PMDs with Broadcom's 5nm 112GBd PAM4 DSP technology. The live demonstration will take place at the Optical Fiber Communication (OFC) 2023 exhibition in San Diego from March 7 to 9. This high-performance solution is designed to meet increasing data processing demands and supports scalable optical modules for data rates up to 3.2 Tbps, critical for future 51.2T and 102.4T switch platforms.
