Six Flags Entertainment Corporation (NYSE:SIX) has announced the installation of a 12.37-megawatt solar carport at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Los Angeles, California. This initiative marks the largest single-site commercial renewable energy project in California and the largest solar project for any for-profit organization in the U.S. The solar installation will generate 20.8 million kilowatt-hours of energy annually, equivalent to the electricity consumption of approximately 2,874 homes. It will also offset greenhouse gas emissions comparable to taking 3,182 cars off the road each year.
