(Nasdaq: QLGN) today announced the closing of its previously announced registered direct offering with certain institutional investors for the purchase and sale of 5,880,000 shares of common stock for $1.50 per share (i.e., for aggregate gross proceeds of $8,820,000).

A.G.P./Alliance Global Partners acted as sole placement agent for the offering.

The securities were sold pursuant to an effective shelf registration statement on Form S-3 (File No. 333-232798) previously filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
