Perspecta announces financial results for third quarter of fiscal year 2021
Perspecta Inc. (NYSE:PRSP) reported third-quarter fiscal 2021 earnings on February 5, showing revenue of $1.13 billion, a 1% year-over-year increase. Net income fell to $31 million, or $0.19 per diluted share, down from $53 million and $0.33 a year prior. The operating margin decreased to 4%, impacted by COVID-19 costs of $19 million. The company has entered a merger agreement with Peraton, with stockholders set to receive $29.35 per share. Contract awards totaled $0.9 billion, with a backlog of $13.6 billion.
