Performance Food Group Company (PFGC) announced the retirement of CFO Jim Hope, effective in Q4 2022, with Patrick Hatcher transitioning into the role. Hope, who has been instrumental in PFG's growth over 35 years, will mentor Hatcher during the transition. Hatcher, currently President & COO of Vistar, has extensive experience in finance and operations. Additionally, Scott McPherson has been promoted to Executive Vice President, overseeing the Vistar segment. Mr. Hope has had an impressive career in the industry for more than 35 years. Early in his career with PFG, he led efforts to streamline business operations, strengthen internal best practices, develop PFG’s Specialty business and guide procurement and operations strategies. As CFO, he has led PFG’s corporate finance department, overseeing accounting, tax, treasury, internal audit, investor relations and financial planning. Prior to PFG,Mr. Hope held executive leadership roles with Sysco Corporation for 26 years, serving as Executive Vice President of Business Transformation, Senior Vice President ofSales and Operating Company President.

Mr. Hatcher is currently President & Chief Operating Office of Vistar. He joined Vistar in 2010 and has held diverse executive leadership roles spanning finance, information technology, sales and marketing, including Vice President, Finance & Chief Financial Officer, Vistar. Prior to joining PFG’s family of companies,Mr. Hatcher spent 10 years with MillerCoors in finance and numerous other functions. He brings global experience from his roles as a senior business development producer for China.com and as an operations manager forSouth China Brewing Company . He currently serves as the vice chair of the NAMA Board of Directors, theU.S. convenience services industry association.
