(Nasdaq:OPXS), a leading manufacturer of precision optical sighting systems for domestic and worldwide military and commercial applications, announced today it has received an initial purchase order for Laser Filter Assemblies supporting the U.S. Military IVAS Program.

Bill Bates, GM, Applied Optics Center stated "AOC has been working to develop a Laser Interference Filter assembly supporting the IVAS program and we are excited to announce that an initial purchase order has recently been released. The AOC team will supply the first fully functional assemblies this quarter. We will strive to ensure that our customer and the end-user are both fully satisfied with the product and we will work with our customers on any future upgrades.
