RICHARDSON, TX / ACCESSWIRE / September 18, 2023 / Optex Systems Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq:OPXS), a leading manufacturer of precision optical sighting systems for domestic and worldwide military and commercial applications, announced today it has been awarded a 5 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract from the U.S. Government, for M22 (7 x 50) Binoculars with an estimated value of $2.12 Million.

Bill Bates, GM of Applied Optics Center (AOC), stated "We are excited to once again be the chosen supplier of the M22 Binocular system to the U.S. Government. AOC has supplied more than 80,000 systems since the early 2000's and we look forward to continuing the supply of laser protected binoculars to our troops."

With this order, the current Optex backlog is in excess of $41million.
