(TSXV: OPHR) (OTCQB: OPHRF) (FSE: 80M) ("Ophir" or the "Company") announces it intends to file a Notice of Alternation to change its name to "Ophir Metals Corp." (the "Name Change"). The stock symbol on the TSX Venture Exchange (the "TSXV") will not be changed and will remain trading under "OPHR". The new name will more accurately reflect the Company's diversified metals portfolio, primarily in lithium at its James Bay, Quebec projects and gold and silver at the Breccia Gold Project in Idaho.
The Name Change was approved by the directors of the Company on May 28, 2024. The Name Change is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange and applicable securities regulatory authorities.
No action will be required by existing shareholders with respect to the name change. Certificates representing common shares of the Company will not be affected by the name change and will not need to be exchanged.
