MONTREAL, Feb. 24, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Osisko Development Corp. (NYSE: ODV, TSXV: ODV) ("Osisko Development" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that the Company has agreed to issue 10,000 common shares of the Company (the "Common Shares") in accordance with the terms of a participation agreement dated June 10, 2022 (the "Participation Agreement") with the Williams Lake First Nation (see news release dated July 5, 2022), relating to the Company's 100%-owned Cariboo Gold Project located in central British Columbia.

Pursuant to the Participation Agreement, the Company has also agreed to make certain cash payments and issue up to 50,000 additional Common Shares, subject to the achievement of certain future milestones. All Common Shares issuable under the Participation Agreement will be subject to a statutory hold period expiring four months and one day from the date of issuance in accordance with applicable securities legislation.
