The theme for UGM 2021 is “ENGAGE”—a dual call to action for attendees to explore insights, trends and policies affecting ambulatory practices in today’s complex healthcare environment and to leverage technology to optimize engagement with their patients.
UGM 2021 commences with a keynote by Marty Makary, M.D., who was named one of the most influential people in healthcare by Health magazine. A New York Times best-selling author, Dr. Makary is a gastrointestinal surgeon, researcher and associate professor of health policy and management at Johns Hopkins University. The event will close with a keynote by Paralympic medalist Amy Purdy, whose spiritual awakening following the blood infection that caused her to lose both her legs is awe-inspiring. Registrants can choose from more than 80 live breakout sessions and 100 on-demand sessions, many of which offer CME/CNE credit. All session content and replays will be available through January 31, 2022.
