NMG Announces the Closing of US$50 Million Private Placement by Mitsui, Pallinghurst and Investissement Québec
Nouveau Monde Graphite (NMG) has successfully completed a private placement of unsecured convertible notes, raising aggregate gross proceeds of US$50 million. The funding was secured through agreements with Mitsui, Pallinghurst Bond Limited, and Investissement Québec. Mitsui contributed US$25 million, while Pallinghurst and IQ each provided US$12.5 million. Proceeds will be used to optimize the feasibility study for NMG's Phase-2 Commercial integrated operations. The notes are subject to a four-month hold period that expires on March 9, 2023.
