VANCOUVER, BC, Sept. 18, 2023 /PRNewswire/ - New Pacific Metals Corp. ("New Pacific" or the "Company") (TSX: NUAG) (NYSE American: NEWP) is pleased to announce filing of an independent Mineral Resource Estimate ("MRE") Technical Report for its Carangas Silver-Gold Project (the "Carangas Project") located in Oruro, Bolivia, with an effective date of August 25, 2023 (the "Carangas Technical Report").  For details of the MRE results, please refer to the Company's news release dated September 5, 2023 filed under the Company's profile on SEDAR+ at www.sedarplus.ca, with the SEC on EDGAR at www.sec.gov/edgar, and on the Company's website at www.newpacificmetals.com

The Carangas Technical Report was prepared in accordance with the Canadian Securities Administrators' National Instrument 43-101 – Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects ("NI 43-101").

The Qualified Persons ("QP") for the Carangas Technical Report are Mr. Anderson Goncalves Candido, FAusIMM, Principal Resource Geologist of RPMGlobal (Canada) Ltd. ("RPM") and Mr. Marcelo del Giudice, FAusIMM, Principal Metallurgist of RPM.       

Alex Zhang, P.Geo., Vice President of Exploration, who is the designated QP for the Company has also reviewed and approved this news release.
